I think they are like Marmite. Love them or hate them. Maybe hate is the wrong word but they aren't cheap!
Are they a fad? How many still use a waste disposal unit now a lot of us recycle food via the Council? We used to fit them in loads of houses. Not very popular now.

We have a quooker flex. Had it put in when we redid the kitchen earlier this year. Love it and wouldn’t be without it now. Never use a kettle anymore

Would love one to but DH says think how many kettles you could buy for the cost of one! Plus we live in a very hard water area so how long would it last?

We've got them in our office kitchens and are brilliant - I can make a Cuppa and be back at my desk in under a minute. I drink a lot more coffee since they put them in though 👍🏻

We had one at my old work place. I still used the kettle, I really didn't like it.

I’ve got a Quooker. Expensive addition, but we all really love it. Instant 100c water so fine for proper tea ! Not all taps provide boiling water so check if this matters to you. Also really handy for cooking. We’ve had it for 5 years ... no problems so far !

We have one and love it... wouldn't really be without it... can run the electric bill up though as they will 'heat up' as needs be.
OK in the day but at night maybe we should turn ours off |
