Mobile Any October half term inspiration?

Tempted to get something planned for a few days away over October half term. Would love to hear any plans anyone has for inspiration totally stumped at minute 🙈. Looked at center parcs but their school holiday prices are ridiculous!

We book for Tenerife every October for a bit of sunshine before the bad weather sets in here. Don’t know if it will happen this year but we’ve got it booked just in case. The Haven/Park Dean/Butlins sites are all open if you wanted to look at UK abs do kids activities?

If it is just a few days away maybe city breaks. Don’t know where you live but we will do a couple of nights at Blackpool illuminations. We will also probably book a Premier Inn for Edinburgh or York maybe. We did look at Centre Parcs in Europe because they are such good value in comparison to the U.K. but I think I am too nervous to book anywhere abroad unless it is very last minute because everything changes so quickly just now. Forest holidays look good.

It depends on what you like to do, how far you want to travel, and ages of family. It is usually just daughter (15) and I so Premier Inns are fine.

I’d love to try Center Paris but can never justify paying their holiday prices.

We’ve done city breaks to Newcastle and visited Alnwick Castle where they filmed Harry Potter. They have in the past done Halloween activities for the kids. They made potions/wands and rode on broomsticks. Not sure what will be on offer this year though.

We off to the caravan. Already had it planned as we go every october half term. It when i take it back from Haven, i just need some activities because owners parties and activities are cancelled this year. I know haven are extending their rental season this year so might get some deals.

I’ve booked an apartment in Scarborough for 4 nights. We get 2 weeks for October and are going in the first week.
