P&O Cancellations to October

So, unsurprisingly, our 12-26 September cruise to the Med is cancelled.
However, we used the 125% FCC to book the same cruise for 2021, and had enough to upgrade to a suite, so not too unhappy!

Well done - I had 2 booked, 1 in March and 1 in May both of which were cancelled. I’ve rebooked for end of October and my extra 25% turned 9 nights into a 13 night cruise, so I’m happy too. Fingers crossed this one goes ahead!

We’ve had three cruises cancelled owing to Covid, March (P&O), August and Nov (Princess). Whilst we’re desperate to cruise again, we’ve written off 2020 and nothing else booked until Aug 21. If cruises are up and running in early 2021, we’ll see what the safety protocols and restrictions are on board and make a decision then - some of the speculation about what the on-board experience will be like isn’t for us, but it is only speculation. Fortunately, we’re able to travel at short notice but can’t wait to get back on that ship!

Similar story for us - cancelled are P&O in April and Princess November. Not yet cancelled (but we won’t be going if by some miracle it’s not) is Celebrity in August. The earliest we plan on cruising is also August 21, but that one’s with a Celebrity movable deposit.

At the moment, short of a vaccine, it’s impossible to see how social distancing can be managed in theatres and dining rooms. I’d like to be back on board, but I can wait and I’m even considering taking the family on a Disney cruise with the money we’ve saved this year - not told them though

We've got a P&O mini-cruise booked for mid-December and a P&O Dubai cruise booked for January. I am desperate for the Dubai cruise to take place as I am turning 50 whilst during the cruise. As it is 6 months away, I am hoping things will have changed a bit by then

We're supposed to be on the Dubai cruise at the end of November; should have been on the Iona next weekend but when it was cancelled we used the enhanced FCC for the Dubai one. We're really not expecting it to go ahead given that cruises are suspended to the middle of October.
Our greatest concern is the flight, albeit Emirates seem to be setting the standard for mitigating any risk of infection.

Sorry to hear! We have a Christmas one booked and still thinking this might not happen in all honesty! I kind of wish they would just say "scrap it this year" type thing because at least then you have certainty! Tomorrow I have to book tours and restaurants for my December cruise and part of me is like "why bother" but then the other part is worried if I don't and it goes ahead I'll be kicking myself.

Cunard is now ‘paused’ till April. We are booked on QM2 in May, moved from May this year, not too hopeful now tbh.
