This is the thing - it’s not just about dogs. I’ve read a few stories of horses bolting after being so frightened of fireworks and then getting killed on the roads 😢

Its not just dogs who are terrified of fireworks. My youngest has always been terrified of them. Its the bangs, they hurt his ears and frighten him.
We have to have the tv turned up loud but he was upset last night whilst trying to get to sleep, he was still upset at 2:25am 😪
It may sound selfish but I do wish fireworks could only be for organised events and not available to joe blogs.
That way, if you love them you can go and watch a spectacular show. If not you are not forced to hear it.

Organised events only for me as well, or Nov 5th only at a stretch.
