My mum had over the rainbow the Hawaiian version because she loved Hawaii and Hawaiian music, the minister tried to get us to change it to the Eva Cassidy version because he thought it was better. Erm my mum didn’t like that version so you can have it at your funeral!

Having had to choose music for both parents. Mums just before Christmas. We tried to choose a finale song that made people smile. Dad had the clean version of Alice from Chubby Brown. Mum loved music loved going to concerts. going in west life flying without wings then S Club 7 reach for the stars and the final dance was the Nolan’s Iam in the mood for dancing. No idea on my choice. But something happy.

despite me saying never to talk about such things my eldest son has told me if would like Sweet Caroline played at his funeral- I think its a song him and his mates sing after one too many ! I would have to have something that can be sung along to as well - not sure what !
