Fingers crossed is pretty much all we can do at the moment but I'm trying to keep positive. Would really love to tell the kids but don't think it's fair with so much uncertainty, disappointment is easier as an adult!

I also don't know yet whether we'll be travelling as a party of 4 or 5. It's a complicated personal situation so I won't go into detail other than say we'd really love it if husbands daughter/stepdaughter can come and we're hoping it's possible. She's booked onto the cruise with us and I've ordered her DC ticket but haven't booked her flight yet. In my head the final decision needs to made by Easter for practical reasons, realistically if she decided the day before we travel she wants to come then we'll make it work.

I love a good to do list so I'll be getting started on one this evening. Most I can really do for now I think, I'm trying to be super laid back about it but it's hard when you're normally a super organised trip planner

What a fabulous plan. It sounds great! I've never stayed in a villa in Florida but I was looking at a few this morning! I kind of feel this might be the best option if masks are still required on property as at least you can relax in your villa and have some downtime.

I hope your trip comes together without any hiccups.
