DGD’s are nearly three and just turned five, and don’t stop, and eating everything in sight! I was planning a nap this afternoon, but DH beat me to it! His turn to get up tonight!
Oh lol poor you, you'll need a holiday after this, it's sounds hilarious the way you've worded it all 😂

I’ve found it unbearable today. I’m a driving instructor so masked up and no air con in the car. I’m dreading the next few days. It’s the masks

Tried to get tickets for the zoo, but had a queue ahead of me of over 2500! This heat is too much for tots walking about! Not to mention us oldies!
I made pineapple icecream earlier, but they preferred peppa pig shop bought lollies! Ive given up cleaning anywhere! The sweet corn bits under the table can stay there!

I nearly missed the rain, as I was in the shower, but didn't hear any thunder... saw the tailend of the rain though and it was pretty torrential (came in the bedroom window and soaked the windowsill). A friend that's nearer town than me didn't get any rain at all. Weird, must've been a small thundercloud.
We had a bit of rain then hail 😊

Off work today so we download a Treasure Trail for Bridgnorth. It was spy story based. We all enjoyed it. It took 2 hours and the code we submitted at the end was correct so we get entered into the monthly prize draw for £100

Working from home and it's still 33 degrees here at nearly 5 pm and still full sun outside.

Had windows and blinds closed all day, the awning has been pulled out over the patio doors all day and both ceiling fans in our living room have been on.

I've had 3 ice poles today !

Although I suspect our house is cooler than the office I have at work, which is like a furnace in the summer. Can regularly get to near 35 degrees, no ceiling fan and the air con never works ! So my colleague and I end up with 4 desk fans on full, which just blows paperwork all over the place! So actually it's nicer to be home in this heat !
