We were supposed to be buying a bigger house (3 bed semi) and had to pull out due to Covid. This was very disappointing and as soon as they release 90% mortgages again wide spread, and the market is more stable, this is what I am desperate to resurrect.
Luckily our wedding and weeks honeymoon cruise went through ok pre Covid, but we had to cancel our long weekend to Amsterdam, P&O cruise to Spain and Portugal, and a few gigs/ comedy shows etc.
It’s a tough one for us, I’m 36 so need to think about starting a family soon if we are going to, but our house isn’t really that suitable, and I need to try to cling on to my job really. So it’s not easy.
However I’m desperate to go on a cruise 😂

Supposed to be going to Iceland this May so that's moved to next May.
Also, hoped to go to Canada with friends after their trip, due to be a couple of weeks, was cancelled and they've moved to next July. They've rescheduled all of their flights and hotels, but we aren't brave enough to book ours yet.
Florida is due for 2022 with friends who haven't been before, so I want the full experience for them.
And long term, we really want to go to Australia

We had Easter 20 in Cyprus cancelled.
Med cruise in June 20 to celebrate DD 21st/graduation cancelled. Instead we had 2 glorious weeks of sunshine in the Lake District in August.
Just yesterday our 25th wedding anniversary cruise cancelled. By the sounds of things it will be a M&S meal deal instead if this mini lockdown goes ahead!
We were to go to Florida in July 21 with my parents and our 3 kids but have recently cancelled our Dibb villa.
Will probably take the caravan back to Lake District next summer instead. So much has changed that we could never have imagined, just makes me want to appreciate what we do have!

We were very lucky to have a Caribbean cruise and week in New Orleans this February. It feels surreal remembering watching the US news about COVID and not fully at that time comprehending what would unravel in 2020!

We had various plans this year which have been scrapped but we have managed a couple of weekends in Reading to see my sister and neice, and this weekend it was my husband’s 50th birthday and we had a wonderful time in London.

Future plans are Japan (that was the original 50th birthday destination) and I would love to go to Thailand.

One day I will go back to Hawaii (having been lucky to visit twice over the last few years) but I’m keeping that one for further in the future until they’ve had a chance to get through, and economically recover, from this. Maybe my 50th in four years’ time.

At the moment I’m hoping for Florida sept/ October 2021 but back up plan is currently feb2022 - after then the little one we’re taking will be 3 so need tickets (which adds a good £500min)
After that I’m going to have to save a deposit for a house and to replace my car, sooo no massive holidays for me unfortunately!

We may be going to Florida in November, really want to go in January as that breaks the winter up for us, have booked for 17 of us to go to Costa Rica in July, really want to go to the Mermaid in Rye and do a back to our roots trip to Portland and Weymouth with my siblings. Hopefully we will get a few done at least.
