We always take packs of Freddo Frogs and they have always been fine. I just have to have a small cadbury fix when I'm on holiday.

We brought a lot of chocolate back in May.

We packed most of it it in the suitcase in the hold but they must have put our bags near something hot or left them out in the sun for a while before loading because when we got home it was all melted

The few bags of chocolate we had put in our hand luggage were fine.

Just a tip... freeze your chocolate and pack it last thing in a cool bag, we have had chocolate in the hold several times some have been ok and others it has melted, take minstrels they don't melt, i think the main problem is not in the hold but when the cases are in the car etc with the heat
