Day trips - no beaches

Hi can anyone recommend any day trips I don't mind travelling up to 2 hours or would consider longer if it was something I was interested in, we have been to Orlando 8 times now and fancy doing something we haven't done before.

I hate beaches and I know that is a huge part in things to do in the area, does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi we are heading to Westgate River Ranch on a saturday, its about 1 hour away southwards, there you can watch a rodeo on the sat night as well as a have a hayride to a bbq, swimming pool, pony rides, shooting range, airboat rides, petting zoo for kids, saloon, shop and more id imagine. Havent been before but looks great.

There is the Mount Dora downtown area. Lots of quaint little shops and a wonderful little tearoom. It's a very lovely area. You can also visit the Brevard Zoo, or the Orlando Science Center.

I don't know how far away it is having never done it before, but a lot of people have mentioned Little Toot Dolphin Adventures, where you see Dolphins in their natural habitat, which sounds amazing!

We went to a Giraffe ranch for the day, hand feeding giraffe, hippos, and other animals think it was about hour and half drive away.
Also the state parks are lovely, with fab walks, kayaks, tubes, boat trips.
Take in a Sporting event depending on the time of year you visit baseball, American football.
Join Groupon for the Orlando area as sometime that will give you some different ideas and also cheap tickets.
