It's not the alligators that worry me, it's the thought of water snakes

Why do you think only DH is brave enough to swim in the river. I saw a snake at the waters edge whilst waiting for him. There are some fish in there that aren't too nice as well, I can't remember the name of them. It's very popular with the Americans though.

At least the river is clear and you can see what is around you. What do you think is floating around in the ocean

Especially over around Daytona and Cocoa, lots of small sharks hence why I no longer swim out there. Go you tube it for a fright

The best Mall to visit if you go to Blue Springs or DeLeon is the Seminole Mall. It is just off the I4 on the way home. simon/mall/seminole-towne-center

Hi we went to Blue Springs on our last visit. Went out on a Kayak trip and saw amazing wildlife and afterwards went for a swim in the springs it was freezing, really really cold but I got in as there was a manatee and her baby swimming in was well worth getting cold for. There were lots of American families all swimming and having fun we were watching as saying how could they stick the water so cold and they shouted over for us to come and see, well it made an amazing finish to a great day. As the manatee swam up to my son and was nibbling his swim shorts like a goat would
Hoping to book another Kayak trip keeping an eye on Orlando groupon as we had a fab deal. Hoping to visit other state parks on next trip.

Edited at 08:03 AM. Reason: spelling
