Ladies with PCOS. NONO or similiar?

Hi

Are there any ladies on here with PCOS who have found a successful treatment for the facial hair issues we are troubled with?

Do not want to resort to waxing, want to find a gadget I can use in privacy of my own home.

Sick of my current daily removal regime.

I stopped worrying about it years ago and just use a razor on my upper lip in the shower daily and anywhere else when needed together with occasional tweezing. The advice for women not to use a razor is pointless IMO.

My daughter has PCOS and had private laser treatment, it works really well and the first time it reduced regrowth for a couple of years before it got really bad again. She was having another course of treatment but that got stopped when lockdown started and the clinic hasn't reopened yet.
She uses the laser clinic which is part of the skin clinic at our local hospital which is pretty good value, and we know it's medically safe.

Having the coil fitted stopped mine. I have both PCOS and ENDO, so it�s used as a treatment.

When my coil needed replacing, and the appointment was cancelled due Covid, I did start growing a moustache, which I used Nair hair removal cream on as I�m super dark, so you could really see it.

There are a couple of places I would possibly like to get laser treatment on though. I do believe if it�s PCOS or ENDO related, you can have it on the NHS, so may be worth checking with your GP or Consultant

QVC the telly shopping channel is selling this. The bonus with buying from them is that you can try it for 60 days then return it if it�s not for you.

Thanks. My GP is rubbish so probably wont refer me, but might try get a referral once they having normal appointments in person again.

I got laser treatment. It�s the best thing I ever did and worth every penny. I went to sk:n and waited until they had a good offer on, think it was 40% off.
