As a 74 year old who isn't on Faceache and has never tweeted in my life I'd like that explaining please.
 All I can see on Google is compassion and romantic interest. Is empathy nearer the mark please? Mick

I am on FB and Instagram and never seen or heard of Purple Heart being used outside of a military award context and I am a social media (naughty word)

Im not sure of the significance of the Purple Heart but I’ve noticed there’s a new addition of a hug 🤗 emoji above it too. This is obviously to show you care and want to give them a hug. We could all do with one of those now 🤗

It is for compassion or bravery.
