Post GCSE Results Day Trip!

After our surprise New Year trip where we told our teenage daughters on Christmas Day we were going to DLP, we decided we would like to go back when it was a bit warmer!

So when the Free Half Board offer came up, we decided we would go for the 25th celebrations.

So 4 days after our eldest GCSE results day and a week before she starts a new school for 6th Form, we are off to Newport Bay for 3 nights.

Exciting!

That's fantastic, how exciting! We've booked Center Parcs for the week after DD gets her GCSE results, still exciting, but not quite to the same level as going to DLP

we're also taking a post-GCSE trip, very early July though, as soon as the exams and prom are over. Its a reward for the hard work my daughter and her best friend are putting in, from now until exams are over .

They have all worked so hard haven't they, especially with the uncertainty of the new English and Maths grades.

So much stress around - I thought mocks we over in November, but found out today she has more Maths and English mocks next week, before the first exam on 16th May.

Where has my baby gone?!

I've also booked a post GCSE results trip, the only issue as far as my daughter is concerned is that her brother and sister are also going! Although the youngest will have had year 6 SATS which at the moment are seeming just as stressful as the GCSEs :-(

Working in a Primary School, I know how stressful the SATs are and how hard they are - so they deserve a post SATs trip too!

What a lovely surprise for her! My GCSE results day was also my 16th birthday, so I'd have loved something like that! And from the sounds of it, the whole family will well and truly deserve it!
