Mobile Nice beach, west coast ?
Nice beach, west coast ?

Want to take the kids to beach tommorow.. Looking for recomendations.. Wanting sand like clearwater.. But without the commerical elements..

Just want a nice beach where we can take all out own stuff..

Indian Shores or Indian Rocks Beach; 10-15 miles further south of Clearwater on Gulf Blvd.
Few if any chain shops/restaurants in either town.

Siesta key at Sarasota beautiful beach were there a few days ago ,thinking of going back tomorrow

My shout would be Anna Maria Island too. Decent driving distance, beautiful beaches, low rise. Last time we were there DS and DH got the fright of their lives when a manatee swam beneath them!
