Worried about the weather!
Hi,
me and 4 friends are heading to Florida on the 4th of this month. I cant wait to be back there, but looking at the weather it seems that the heatwave is going to come to an end on the day we arrive. the weather forecast is showing constant thunderstorns for the two weeks we are there. gutted! My question is, how reliable is the forecast for Florida due to the unpredicatble weather and if there are storms, does it affect many rides and parks? thanks

My weather app is showing the thunderstorm icon for most of the next ten days, however it describes them as showers. I doubt it will be incessant rain. Anyway I try not to worry about things that I can do nothing about.

Don’t worry. It just means there’s a possibility of a storm and they tend not to last very long. Part of the joys of summer in Florida! X

A bad thunderstorm does close some of the rides for a while. Usually a downpour lasts for an hour or so but we have been there & removed our shoes to wade thru water be4 now. You picks your dates & lives with it I'm afraid. You dry off pretty quick after a downpour tho - get yourselves some poncho's n put them in your pocket if your really worried but you will be fine.
