Sequotia Lodge or Newport Bay

We stayed at Newport bay club this July and loved it however we stayed compass club and it was summer, I think sequoia lodge looks lovely for winter.

Your question about the FP has been answered, but basically yes, you get one 'hotel' FP per person per day with the GF rooms. This can be used on any FP ride but usually excludes between 1 and 4 pm each day.

I have noticed that offers are including Club rooms less and less these days . The Castle Club in DLH is never included in any offers - always rack rate, and I wouldn't be surprised if the other Club levels in the other hotels go this way when the breakfast inclusive option stops in the hotels. As Club level will still include breakfast, I think this is one of the ways they'll push Club without doing offers very often. Just my opinion, but knowing the way pricing etc is going, I really wouldn't be surprised if this happens. I haven't seen Compass Club on any offers recently at all - not saying there haven't been any, but perhaps a very small number of rooms bookable at that price.

I love SQL but not sure I'd stay in a standard room as the Club perks are nice to have, especially breakfast as it's quite nice in the little lounge.

We stayed at Sequoia last xmas season and it was perfect and sitting in the lounge bar by the huge open fire, enjoying a glowtini after the park closed was fab ☺

Can't comment on Newport Bay as not been there yet but I'm sure it would be equally lovely
