Renting DVC Points at Bay Lake Tower

So on my previous trip we did a one night stay at the Poly and loved it. I've since found out about DVC point rental and wondered what benefits you'd get and general experience of staying at Bay Lake Tower?

This would also just be a one night stay so do you still get magic bands and extra magic hours even when booking through DVC rental?

Just the same as a "normal" booking, the only difference is no "mouse keeping" but on a 1 nighter that isn't going to make a difference. Some of the commercial sites do a minimum points, check out Dave's DVC rentals or look on the DVC forum to see if anyone has BLT points for rent
