Glasgow hotels
Hi all... can anyone suggest any good central hotels in Glasgow ideally with onsite parking. There for business.
Need somewhere central for DW and DS (2) to 'explore' from and in a nice and safe location. Thanks in advance

Onsite parking is hard. But I like the Premier Inn at Buchanan Galleries - there are parking deals in Buchanan Galleries car park, and the Concert Square car park just around the corner - which is the car park I prefer.
The other are with hotels we like to stay is out by the Hydro/Exhibition Centre, nice 15 minute walk along the banks of the Clyde into the city centre or there is the train. Have stayed in Village Hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn and Premier Inn out there - all fine.

Doubletree by Hilton is central. Close to the main shops. There is a carpark at the rear (not Hilton carpark) but you get a special rate, mention at the desk you are parked at the rear. There is also a car park next door. It's a nice hotel. Stayed several times. You can get some good prices.
Courtyard Marriott at the airport was lovely and they have a car park on site if you don't need to be central. If you are looking for luxury then the Dakota is lovely, however no parking on site. We had to park a few blocks away and walk. Beautiful hotel. |
