Why do I have no access to magic band ordering?

whenever I log in on computer I cannot choose a band as it tells me I have 'access unavailable'?
How do I put this right?

Maybe you are too close to your date of stay - are you trying to order for your forthcoming trip?

Are you staying in a Disney Hotel ? If not you won’t be able to order a magic band but you can buy one and link it to your MDE

If it's linked to your countdown, even if you are onsite, you are too late

I also get this - despite trying since the upgraded magic bands thing came out and still being over 50 days from our trip. I thought others were having the same issue but finding out that wasn't the case prompted me to look in to it. I'd already tried a couple of browsers so thought it wasn't that, but Firefox finally worked for me, so may be worth trying a different browser. (Not that there are many bands to choose from once I got in, so have decided not to bother and stick with coloured ones!)
