Where is the best place to park at Winter Park?

Whenever we go to the scenic lake boat ride we're lucky enough to always park kerbside about 5 minutes from the lake. Never checked how long you're allowed though.

Or you could do what we plan on doing next time we go. Catch the Sunrail from Poinciana (our nearest station). It's ridiculously cheap for a couple of "seniors" at around $6 return - and avoids I-4 in downtown.

It's a commuter train so only weekdays I think and timings geared to the working day. Station is a 10 minute walk from the lake.

We loved doing the Sunrail this year to Winter Park.
I4 scares the pants off me, especially with all the road works going on.
