Mobile Balloon panoramagique! Worth it?

Has anyone done this and would they recommended for ages 5 and 6 (with adults!) Is it better at night? The website is French so is it ok to book there or needs to be done in advance?

No need to book. It is nice but if there is the slightest wind or rain then it doesn’t run.

Earl of Sandwich has good deals for a meal and a ride.

We really enjoyed it, my son was 3 at the time. Your only up in the air for 5 mins. You can see the Eiffel Tower on a clear day. Have a look at their fb page as they sometimes have offers on. You don't book in advance, just turn up and pay and wait your turn

We took our children aged 5 and 9 on our first DLP holiday, and it was a lovely experience. We were definitely pleased that we did it, but have never considered going up again on subsequent trips.

We did it during the day - it had been closed for a slight breeze every time we’d gone past, then we saw it open as we came out of breakfast with Mickey, so we went straight up and paid. (We’d seen it going up from the park at other times, but didn’t want to go all the way out of the park just for the balloon.)

I’d say to take the opportunity to do it whenever you happen to see it open, day or night, especially if you’re already passing by on your way to / from the parks.

Having done this today with the temperature in the mid 30s and not even the slightest hint of a cooling breeze at ground level, I can fully understand why they close it.

The ballon was really affected by whatever breeze was slightly higher up and we were definitely moving about on the cable.
