Did you have to ask for this? We flew in the bubble both ways in 2017 and my kids never got the chance to do this, wish i'd known as they would have loved it!

Just book it, it's your holiday, enjoy it the best you can.
There is no issue with children in the bubble. There is no room to run about in the bubble or stretch your legs as you can downstairs. Half of it is PE and you can’t go in that part and the other half is small. As it is kids don’t run around the plane up or downstairs in my experience although a wander with a parent isn’t unusual. You may need to review your expectations of what’s acceptable on a flight. I’ve flown with my now adult children since the youngest was five. They would not have been allowed to run around the plane and understood that. Same as in a classroom they also would not have been allowed to shout endlessly. No one wants to listen to that for 8 hours TBH.

I have always wandered through PE to the loo and looked out the window stretched my legs etc. No one has ever looked askance or made a comment.

Not loved seats) as that’s where I feel the least trapped.
This is me , my experience of the bubble was having two virgin stewards sat rattling behind us all the way back from Orlando about their next flights , what they were doing when they got home , etc etc , it was relentless ! Also the lady who sat vomiting for 5 hrs across from us wasn’t fun either in such a tight space . Not a common occurrence but it cost us a lot to sit up there ( 5 of us) , I much prefer downstairs .

Well I’ve booked ‘Dibbers row’!
Just for clarity, I wasn’t worried about my kids legging it up and down the plane. They’ve been flying since they were months old and go on several flights a year. They actually prefer long haul due to the entertainment, it’s just that the youngest isn’t always the quietest!

Well since you feel honesty is important, we are in the PE section as you would have realised had you taken the time to read my other posts in the thread.
Secondly, who gives you the right to tell me to review my expectations of what is acceptable on a plane.
You dont know my child or the circumstances. It would fit you well to look after your own and mind your own business. Not everyone has robot children that obey their almighty commands.
Thirdly, I have been nothing but helpful and friendly on this forum and I really dont like your attitude if you have nothing positive to contribute best to not contribute at all.

Over react much ?

Also, to be fair, you kind of asked for it as your first post does come across a bit as "the kids can do what they like - i'm on holiday"

I have seen this a number of times on flights to Florida where the parents have their headphones on and just let the kids run riot - not great.

I would agree there just isn't a great deal of space upstairs, it tends to be quieter and if you have very active kids they might be better off downstairs.
