St Pete Beach - What is it like?
We will be taking in the Baseball and can't decide whether to do it on route to Siesta Key Village and stay at SK for 5 nights or stop over at St Pete Beach for 1 or 2 nights first.
I've no knowledge of St Pete Beach at all - is it worth a night or two? |

We stayed for 3 nights in st Pete's last year at Don Cesar. We loved the beach and had a day at fort de Soto. I would stay for 2 nights as although we stayed for 3 we only had 2 full days.
Fort de Soto is definitely worth a visit. We saw manatees and dolphins and spent alot of time in the water there - it was lovely and warm. Would love to go back but would stay in a different hotel next time.
