Has anyone been recently and if so, how long did the drive take please?

Also, for the manatee swim, what footwear should we take please?

Hi I think when we went a couple of years ago getting there in atrocious weather took a couple of hours.
Re footwear on the manatee swim I think we had flip flops for the boat and then everything you need for the swim wetsuits etc We’re provided by the company (Fun2Dive) who were excellent.

Thank you, we’ve also booked with that company so good to hear that they come recommended! I think we will wear water shoes then

Early start for us then!

Has anyone done this with younger kids? Our 7 year old swam with whale sharks last year, so she will be fine. As much as we’d love to do this I’ve told DH to take it off our itinerary for this trip as I don’t think it would be suitable for our 4 year old. However, if anyone has done this with little ones, I’d love to hear.
