WOW ! The speed in which ‘ Rise’ boarding passes become unavailable

Pressed ‘join boarding group’ immediately it became available - and within a few seconds it told me we’d been unsuccessful but in a reserve group. Looking on the bright side, standby groups being called before noon would indicate that reliability is improving!

They are up to group 97 so far today with atleast 4 more park hours so a good day.
But one day last week ( I forget which ) they never passed group 50 as was down till mid afternoon from opening 🥴🥴

so. The boarding groups open at 8 on the app. When does the park open? I believe you cant book until in the park so surely all those people are not passed through the entrance within a minute?

I've not yet bought our one day ticket for Hollywood studio's. This is making me hesitate as the park seems so busy in general. Didn't the tiers change today, I was hoping that might help with TOT and Rock n Roller but the queues still look huge.

They seem to be letting people enter the park from atleast an hour before official opening

This makes me really sad. My son is autistic and his special interest is Star Wars so obviously he knows everything about GE. He won’t be able to cope with these early starts, crowds at admission, the stress of not knowing whether we’ll get a boarding group or not (he probably won’t sleep and will talk about it endlessly stressing everyone out) and if we get a stand by boarding group, the stress of waiting to see if we get a go will be too much. At least with a stand by queue we know what we’re getting and can prepare him.

I’ve emailed disney disability services about this as there is no way my son will cope with those admission crowds. I wondered if they had an alternative to the huge gate crowds.
