Thank you. My DH said it was going to be a waste of time doing the table and chairs and I may as well just throw it out and get new. I quite enjoyed proving him wrong 😂

Thank you Louise. I must admit I’m very pleased now it’s finished and I am thinking of looking into new unit doors to improve it even further. It is nice to have a comfortable home to relax in through all this.

DH painted the ceiling but all other work including sanding down, painting and waxing the table and chairs I did myself

It's looking lovely and light :-)

Thankyou - today I finally feel almost like myself. I've had a really rough week with loads of symptoms (but not the 3 main ones) but it's definitely almost over - whatever it is! I sent the home test back first thing on Thursday morning, but no result yet.

I’m sorry you’ve been so unwell. It will be interesting to see if you have the virus as you’ve been rough but not had the main symptoms. Our family were the same in March/April, we had aches, coughs and headache but no loss of smell or taste. I hope you feel better soon 💕

Yes, it will be interesting to see. A lot of my friends still work onEAU and out in the community, and patients are testing positive without those 3 symptoms. My symptoms were muscle pain, diarrhoea, fatigue/sleepiness, headaches, loss of appetite, low grade pyrexia (37.4), mild nausea and an urticarial rash.

It really does seem to present with a variety of symptoms. The fatigue hit my DH a lot, he seemed to age so much in the few weeks he was ill. He said he just felt ‘out of it’ all the time. I do wish tests had been available then so we would know if we had some antibodies

DH and I went out to a local hotel for a meal last night as he has been on holiday all week and we’ve been decorating plus we are in local lockdown so we are limited with where we can go. Had a delicious meal though so a nice way to finish the week (felt we were in Disney as we had a complimentary bread course 😂

White chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. The bread had truffle butter with it, served warm. All delicious as were the other courses. It was a nice end to the week. Of course we wished we’d been somewhere warm and sunny as originally planned, but it was still enjoyable
