We are the same as you , we moved this September to next September and was told the same , and that any new promotion could be applied to our booking

We were told when rebooking that any future offer could be retrospectively applied to the booking. Hopefully that will be the case.

Only slight issue with my booking is that with no reopening date POFQ is not on the list, so I’m assuming that it won’t be possible to apply to my booking without changing hotel (which I don’t want to do). Will probably hold fire until towards the end of the offer window to see if POFQ gets added before making a decision. I still live in hope for a discounted dining offer once DDP eventually returns in the new year...

But the point of the offer is to get people to stay onsite.

I hope they offer the option to pay for dinning as well, as that would make it more appealing.

I’m currently swaying from 11 nights at Pop or 11 nights at Hilton BV palace at Disney springs for similar costs and benefits.

Disney haven't said so. Some people assume things will happen, without Disney saying so. It happens a lot on here.

The ones saying they were told that any future offers would be applied, was this verbally over the phone or in writing?

I'm just thinking, due to these unprecedented times, they could possibly try to get out of it by saying the operator said the wrong info possibly as nothing was clear at the time?

I hope not though and everyone gets something they're happy with.
