I can see both points of view, but they've gone about it the wrong way. I wouldn't like to look out onto both a caravan and a works van to be fair, but wouldn't fall out with neighbours over it.
Our neighbour had a large works van that he parked on their front - they dug up the garden and paved it to get it and their car off the road - unfortunately it was almost outside our front window as we're semi detached. We really had to bite our lips as we like them, but were very glad when the van went.

They have asked that no take away delivery after 10pm as they counted a car door opening and closing 5 times at 11pm at night. I spoke to the boys who looked at me in disbelief. Uber eats is life they said. 😂😂

I have called around today and it’s 400 for just the winter and all near us are full. We would be looking at a 30 minute drive to get in anywhere.

I do feel for them but I now feel so watched we are going to get a hedge grown anyway. They will just have to get used to it as they have done with their neighbours the other side who have tall conifers between them.

For now it’s staying. Xx
You sound like a lovely neighbour to me. I could understand if it was parked inches from their window but how can it be an issue if it's parked on your drive?. I would ignore them.

I can't think what may have prompted their neighbours to have planted conifers. 😂

I’d plant more of the plants they don’t like and shape them to look like a middle finger and have it pointed at their house.

That's expensive just for winter, we pay £500 for all year with the Caravan Club with its maintainance, cleaning and vacuuming facilities.

They sound very demanding and unreasonable. If there is nothing in the covenants they really shouldn't be complaining as you haven't done anything wrong.

Our caravan won't fit on our drive so we used to have it in storage, it's now on my MIL's drive, makes it much easier to clean and maintain. I'd love to have it here. We also had a big work van, that was on our drive, our neighbour parked their work van on the road outside our house- to me that was more of a nuisance as it made it difficult to get out of our drive onto a fairly busy road.

I would give them the choice of seeing the caravan or having a hedge 🤷

It wouldn't bother me as we are detached and have fences up. Our neighbour has a work van. Neighbour few doors down has a mobile home on their drive.

Difficult for us to know without a photo.
