Very Merry Christmas Party - pros & cons?

We'll be in Disney for Xmas week (from 23rd), not sure when the last party will be this year , but if we could catch it, tell me why it's worth it please!

Yo don't need it, the only thing about it that is worthwhile is the fantastic parade and you will get to see that in the park anyway due to your dates so save your money!

We went in December - don�t waste your cash. Long queues, cheap cookies and cheaper thimble fuels of crappy juice or eggnog. We felt quite cheated. Oh and it poured with rain and they decided to shut carousel of progress and hall of presidents.
