Book now or wait?
Hi
I'm determined to get our trip back on track for next August. 2 weeks at CBR with no dining as I don't think there will be any free dining going forward. I had the opportunity to book after cancelling our current holiday but opted against it as it was slightly more expensive than my 2020 booking which came with free dining (but obviously missing the dining for 2021). I felt this was unfair. I hoped WDW might give us an offer for moving our stay that was going to be cost neutral. So book now or wait? I booked CBR in 2018 (pre gondolas) through expedia and that was very cheap and was great despite the work. I won't get it at that price I know. Thanks Darren

Ok. I know that I wouldn't have cover. I'd be taking a risk with a deposit in case we couldn't travel in August.
It's a question of risk against availability and future cost as I see it.

We want to hook for next July but I’m holding off.
I’d happily take a gamble on the deposit but our insurance won’t cover anything if you book while the FCO advice in place to not travel. Dare say prices will increase when we are allowed to travel again but there’s no way I’d go to the US without good travel insurance in place.

I'm not bothered about the deposit. I largely expect next August to be ok.

We have booked for next November. If necessary, we will push back but I hope things are at least at the point of a comfortable 'new normal' by then.

The advantage i see now of booking is you have in the bag so to speak. Prices can go up and possible will IMO. If you have a great price book it!

Personally I’m not booking anything (unless I could get the money back) until there is more clarity.

I'm.not happy as things stand but I'm of course worried that things are going to go up. I diy and don't have a great price unfortunately.
I agree. We need clarity.
