I'm not surprised you were a bit nervous travelling so far and to such a different country to what we are used to here. Reading your replies to others it seems like it all turned out fine. I'm sure it was lovely to be able to catch up with your son and see where he is living. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the report.

I can’t believe now how nervous and stressed we were before going 😀 It did turn out really well and seeing Ian was so good after so long. He left the UK 6 years ago and seemed so young then, we were so proud to see the caring, responsible man he has become in those 6 years.
I hope you enjoy the report, it’s going to be a long one as we had so many experiences we want to share 😀 |

I've just found your trippie
It's a great start and I'm looking forward to all your food photos to see what I might have missed when I was there. For anyone thinking of going, it's such an easy place to travel to. We also organised everything ourselves, it was easy. |

I hope you enjoy the report, lots of delicious food photos to follow 😀 I’m hoping to get travel day finished to post on the weekend.
I agree, Vietnam is an easy place to plan and do yourself. English is widely spoken (in the main tourist areas) and we found everyone very friendly and helpful. I see from your countdown that you are soon off on your next holiday, I do hope you have a great time 😀 |

Thanks. We only booked it 2 weeks ago. It's our first holiday since Vietnam March last year !
We had to cancel our Yellowstone holiday which would be this weekend, but a week all inclusive in Turkey will be just the remedy for a tough year. |
