I thought this had been fairly common knowledge for a while. Guests from most other countries have been charged for resort hotel parking in 2019 I believe. The Brits got a 12 month reprieve.

I thank you but I was not aware of it. I guess a few others might not know, but if they do fair play!

What isn’t common knowledge is the fact that they have already started the journey of increasing the prices!

If you have booked before 18th June 2019, the standard overnight self-parking charges per resort category are:
• Disney Value Resorts: $13 per night
• Disney Moderate Resorts: $19 per night
• Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $24 per night

If you have booked after 18th June 2019, the standard overnight self-parking charges per resort category are:
• Disney Value Resorts: $15 per night
• Disney Moderate Resorts: $20 per night
• Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $25 per night

So, I knew this but a big thank you for the link as All Star Sports are trying to charge me for parking, I wanted an official Disney Link so I can sort this out upon checking out tomorrow. The staff don't seem to have any knowledge of this, so if you're starting a stay in 2019, it might be worth having this link handy!

It amazes me how they can charge different rates depending on the hotel type.
Just another cheeky way to make money from the more expensive resorts. Its not like the land cost more, as they own it anyway.

This was first mentioned and discussed back in March 2018:

However, it's good to remind people now that we're getting closer to the actual date. I suspect a few people might have forgotten.

Ah, but you are getting a better quality of parking space at the deluxe resorts compared to the spaces at the value resorts.

Maybe they use a better quality Tarmac for the car parks at the luxury Resorts.

I am surprised they don't have preferred areas at the Hotels. Pay more and Park nearer to your room

Isn’t there a tax officer who has been quite aggressive in applying tax rules to Disney property. So deluxe resorts have a higher tax rating. But I don’t think it amount to the difference they are charging. Personally I think disney have a big bucket with lots of prices on and when they want to charge for something they close their eyes and drag a price out.
