I’ve been February around half term but just once. We needed a hoody every morning and evening and long leggings one day but should have worn them twice. Had one really hot day but that was the only day it was hot enough for me to swim. Great park touring weather. Not so great for swimming or lying in the sun.

We went in February 2015 which coincided with record breaking cold weather in NE USA so we had a real mixed bag including some truly cold days down in Florida too! Think we were unlucky but don't reckon I would go in that time of year again as it's a risk and I really do like a bit of warmth and sunshine on my holidays
