Fast pass advice

Hi everyone need some advice on using the fast pass. We are going as a family of 4 in August and I'm just wondering if I use a fast pass on a ride for just the 2 us do the other 2 lose theirs or can you split the fast passes?

Each FastPass is linked to an individual park entry ticket / or MagicBand.

So if you are a group of 4, you can use your FastPasses together as a group of 4, or 2 lots of 2 etc, as long as you are within the timeslot they are valid for. No idea what they do if you claim to have lost a ticket - I guess that is one for Guest Services to sort out. I do know the CM's on the ride entrances do normally enforce the timeslot down to the minute - i.e. no getting into the FP line a minute early.

You can split the FP selections when booking on MDE. it asks you who will be riding & you select their name.

I was about to post a similar question myself.

Just to expand on OP's question, does anyone know if the three FP per day are per individual ticket? My parents are joining us on our next trip. However, they don't have smart phones so I will most likely be in charge of their bookings on the MDE app. If I book for them separately, will that affect bookings for the rest of us? Thanks!

The 3 fastpasses are per ticket. You can link your parents tickets to your MDE and manage their fastpasses for them..it doesn't affect your fastpasses at all.
