A few DLP questions...

Hi Dibbers,

We are due to fly to paris on the 30th ( flights to be booked hopefully tomorrow as we're getting close now ).
We are booked into stay in the newport bay club from the 1st-3rd as originally we were just planning a quick visit. We have now decided to fly the day before as the cost works out about the same as its much cheaper to get an afternoon/evening flight and a hotel for the 30th.

So my question is has anyone got any good recommendations of off-site hotels for our first night? As its a Saturday the disney hotel prices are really expensive so we are looking at alternatives. We would like to be as close as possible to disney though as we may spend some time in disney village that evening! Also in regards to transport ideally we'd like a hotel accessible by train so any guidance in doing this would be appreciated!

Also another quick question... does the Indiana Jones ride or Crushes Coaster go upside down? My mum wont go on anything that does lol

Any other tips and tricks would be appreciated

Thank you

I would say check out Hi Park Serris - this within walking distance of DLP, or there is a free shuttle and Ibis Val d'Europe - this is one stop away on the RER.

Crush doesn't go upside down, but Indiana Jones does

I would stay in the Val d'Europe area, it's one stop away on the RER and a lot of the hotels have a shuttle bus too. The Ibis and Hotel Elysee come highly recommended on here.

Crush doesn't go upside down but it is a lot more intense than it looks from the glimpse you get when it goes outside!

We've stayed in Relay Spa just round corner from RER Val d'Europe train station and they have a free shuttle to Disney you also get a little kitchen area in your room.
I don't like going upside down so don't do Indiana Jones I did Crush for 1st time in June shocked me how intense it was I love Big Thunder but Crush was a bit much for me but I am a bit of a scaredy cat lol

Do you have younger children? The explorers hotel has an indoor soft play area and a decent pool. It also has a selection of takeaways plus is on a bus route for the village.

Thanks for all the reply’s! I will be sure to take a look at these ones! It’s really helpful to know about the free shuttles !

Also it’s just me and my mum going on this trip - so no younger children to think about !

We stay often at the Campanile ( was the Kyraid) just off site, has free shuttle bus to the parks and takes about 10 mins.

Great hot breakfast buffet as well
