Magic Kingdom day of MNSSHP

Looking at the historical queue times, MK seems quieter during the days of MNSSHP, so why are these days always flagged as not recommended?

2018 examples:

22/10 - 4-5
23/10 - 2-3 - MNSSHP
24/10 - 4-5
25/10 - 2 - MNSSHP
26/10 - 2-3 - MNSSHP
27/10 - 4-6

29/10 - 4-5

Is this a secret. All the guides say to stay away so the parks are actually quiet.

We always go mid October time and now always visit on days when their is a party, the park is much quieter than the non party days. Then we just visit one evening when their isn’t a party just to see the fireworks.

Could it be because the park closes early for non-MNSSHP visitors. So you don't get a full day for your money.

I would imagine it is not recommended as you don't get a full day. That said however if you have a park hopper or plenty of time to visit to experience an evening then I would highly recommend these days as the parks are really quiet in comparison to a non evening event day.
