IMHO, I think all the restaurants are good value for money, even those that are considered expensive. Compared to UK I find the meals to be much better value, bigger quantities, better service.
The best value meal we had was dinner at IHOP Chicken fingers & fries Chicken pasta and garlic bread Chicken burger and fries and salad plus drinks was less than $20. Delicious as well! There was one right at top end of 192 near our hotel Howard Johnson Maingate ..could be JDs or something that was very good value I think it was a place locals went to more. Anyone other cheapo ones that were good value? Deb |

In EPCOT: Arkeshus in Norway, and Biergarten in Germany, both at lunchtime for buffets.
Sweet Tomatoes at Universal end, and Jungle Jims. Hard Rock Cafe was superb, and NBA both at Citywalk. Different to Disney, and surprisingly good value. |

Red Lobster, there's one at the Crossroads and one just up from Wet and Wild (as well as others). Superb food (fish, chicken, steaks etc) and for the 3 of us (2 adults and 1 teen) for dinner with dessert and drinks it usually came to about $40
You must try their fresh baked cheddar bay biscuits (warm from the oven)... yum! .

We're also fans of Red Lobster - we had a superb meal there for 3 of us for around $50
I also like Perkins -complete opposite end of the scale, but for a breakfast or brunch it's excellent, and they do nice dinners too - and the cakes! You've gotta try a piece of Chocolate Silk Pie. Bev |

We love Mama Melrose at MGM, its kinda hard to find tucked round the back of the muppets but very good for lunch and good value as well for being in the middle of a park.

For VALUE its hard to beat the $8.99 Steak and buffet at Sizzler, Ponderosa or Golden Corral.
There are good ones and bad ones, but you get a steak or chicken dinner and the full buffet including fruit and desserts, and kids under 5 are free. Makes budgetting for your hols easy at those prices. For excellent quality and value try Charleys steak house on Orange Blossom. Always in the top ten US independant steak house list. A 32oz portherhouse steak, all you can eat salad, and french onion soup in a quality restaurant surrounding is just $25.

We found Sweet tomato on the I Drive to be very nice and very good value for money. Buffett Meal.
Another one of our favourites was Chillies again on the I Drive, excellent food and very good value for money. Waiter service. Travel Lodge I Drive Feb 2002 |

We found Chili's hard to beat for value, (for a non-buffet meal). We ate there a couple of times and didn't pay more than about $25. (That was for 2 kids meals, with souvenir cups to keep, 2 adult meals and drinks. No pudds though!.
