Worst place we went to was Pizza Hut next to Skull Kingdom on I-Drive. Too Dreadful for words.

Where as the Sizzler next to Wet and Wild was mouth wateringly wonderful

Can't comment on the food - we didn't get that far, but the worst experience we had was at Wolfgang Puck in Downtown Disney.

On entering the restaurant the waitress was cleaning the door and didn't bother to hold it open for us although we had a stroller, shopping etc. We waited to be seated and eventually (no one in front of us the waitress was writing and had her head down) was shown a dirty table which seemed to be in the centre of the restaurant and people were pushing past it to get around. The place was so noisy - with people talking, shouting etc it was impossible to talk to each other and so we asked for an outside table. We were told that the outside seating area was closed although we saw people were eating there, so then we asked for a quieter corner table that we spotted. We were told that we couldn't sit there because we had a stroller with us. At that point we gave up and left.

We went to The House of Blues instead - had a great meal, great music and a friendly, helpful waiter - which more than made up for the earlier experience <img src="http://www.purple-paw.com/~disneybb/iB_html/non-cgi/non-cgi/emoticons/spin2.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':spinsm'>

I dont think i've had a bad meal but we had really bad service at the Pizza hut accross from Pointe Orlando.
Cheaky waitress worked out her tip to the cent and wrote it on the receipt.

I must have looked like i didnt know how to calculate a % so i then pretended i couldt read and she no tip!

Western Steer on Idrive, near Wet n Wild. Meal was quite good, but noticed how dirty it was after we'd eaten- we'd had a hard days shopping.

Shaun may correct me on this, but I don't remember having any poor meals in Florida. Some have been better than others but I can't think of a restaurant that we WOULDN'T go back to.

After a 3 week holiday with no access to self catering facilities you tend to get a bit 'fooded out', and going to restaurants every night seems a bit boring after a while! .

Two restaurants on our recent Orlando trips really pushed my buttons:

Ronnies on IDrive - you know, the one with the little man who plays music on the patio?  We walked in and were seated then the waiter came up with a platter of raw steaks and asked us to choose which we wanted.  Yuk!! He then offered us a choice of chips or jacket and asked if we wanted the 'special' sauce of the day.  DH ordered some for his steak.  The shock came with the bill.  The menu price was for the steak only - the bill came to $68 for two steak dinners and two diet cokes as they charged had us $4 for the chips and a whopping $9.95 for a blue cheese sauce .  We decided we only want to have one mortgage so we declined the sweet trolley!!

The other horror was at Black Angus near Splendid China.  They made us wait 40 minutes for a table, the waitress was rude, they forgot our drinks order and the food was cold. Never again    . Oh yes and the toilets were dirty and in the adjoining Hotel.

On the plus side I have to say that we had a couple of really great meals at the Ponderosa near Splendid China while we were there the other week.

As Fatman sez... give Denny's a BIG miss, especially the one at the far western end of the 192, Disgusting place and staff who look like they were born to play the banjo ...

LOL Mike!

It's funny you should all mention Denny's as we used to go there a lot for breakfast although we haven't been on our last 2 trips to US so maybe they've got worse.
