Hi Bovril -

its just really a shopping center,  we went a couple of evenings after the parks but I wouldn't take a day off just to go there,  it's not really that big.

There is a nice diner there called Johnny Rockets - it's not a very upmarket place,  but it has nice burgers and they have jukeboxes on the tables,  we had a good evening there.

Johnny Rockets is so much fun and the burgers are delicious- the waiters also stop to dance together every so often. We also like to look round FAO Scwartz and jump around on their giant 'floor piano'.

I wouldn't take time out from the parks for it though it is diverting enough for an hour if you are passing.

Where are you staying Bovril?

Yes, go for an evening. We went to Johnny Rockets a couple of times, and to FAO Scwarz (great Barbie collection there&#33, as well as to Gap and other shops.

Hi Bovril, it wasn't me who drew that map - (mine are never wrong - tee hee).
Go in the evening but as people say, it's really not very big - we thought it was a bit of a let down - the Mercado Center was a bit better. We did like the toy shop though (FAO Schwartz), felt like a kid again.

Angel - DD Verity bought most of the Barbie's when we were there so I doubt if they've replaced the stock yet. It was her Barbie HEAVEN.

Pointe Orlando is right accross the road from Quality in Plaza.
We spent most evening in Pointe orlando when we stopped accross the road. There are some fairly good shops for designer stuff and of course a Disney shop.
FAO Schwatz is a huge toy shop and there are some fantastic toys on sale.
There are quite a fe places to eat and upstairs a number of bars with outside seating and live music every night.

Theres also the Movico cinema which we saw the latest films at, huge seats and very loud.

Hi Bev, agree with all postings so far, nice place to visit, don't want to live there... but then again?

However, we spent a few really good hours there as we saw Fantasia 2000 on the huge IMAX screen in the movie theatre.
No idea of actual dimensions, but imagine the side of a medium sized office block, and you won't be far off.  Those whales ... whoa!!  You're hotel should be able to tell you what's on.

My dd Bethan wanted to go for lunch in Hooters Bar. Now it does really help if you know it's a topless bar. Without explaining, we went to Johnny Rockets. Far better( wife is reading this )

ROFLOL Lyn - that would be why it's called Hooters.

I did think they actually wore some skimpy tops- but  we didn't go in , so I can't be sure...

When we walked past they were doing the limbo outside and my dd thought it was fantastic,  we had our own little disco as we walked past.
