Wow - that beach is stunning... I'm thinking I need to go to Hawaii... seems so far away but with a stop in DLR it might be ok

The beach looked exactly like I'd seen in photos, sometimes the reality can be different, but not here. It was great looking up at Diamond Head from the beach the high point/mountain in pics and thinking wow, we climbed that 😄

It was a perfect day 💖🥰 xx

Yes, anything to make it happen 😄 and stopping on the west coast helps with time difference/jet lag x

It just started to rain so we stood under cover for a few minutes and we were treated to this lovely rainbow 😍

For the most part it was easy but a couple of sets of steps were a challenge 😄

We had the most beautiful views from the top, so worth the climb.

Delighted with our efforts 😂

Facetimed youngest dd from the top of DH (she's just started final year Uni exams), she has kind of outgrown family trips, she likes to travel with friends and her bf. Feeling great, we made our way back down and had a slap up meal to celebrate 🤪🤣 (Niamh's choice).

We picked up some stuff in the ABC store close to our hotel, water, snacks and breakfast bits, Cereal, rolls, pasties etc.

We then spent a few hours on the beach ⛱️🌞

We both had a fab day 🥰
Oh WOW that view at the top after all the steps was stunning & a nice reward with a McMuffin yummy 😋
That water is crystal clear a lot better than Southend Seafront
