vodka anyone?

hello sorry not offering a drink but would like to know where is the best place to buy some vodka for our hol? (for mecidinal purposes of course! )
it seems that buying spirits over there is more difficult than here so would it be better cheaper to get some in duty free on the way out?
thanks

Ian,

Somehow this is something I'm familiar with! - LOL

Yes - buy spirits at Duty Free over here before you fly.

Supermarkets over there mainly sell beer whereas you'll have to track down a liquor store for spirits.

There is an ABC liquor store over the 192 from Walmart.

The prices are good and the bottles are plastic...great for bringing home!

If you're flying with Virgin you can get a litre of Virgin Vodka on the plane duty free for £10 and it's in a plastic bottle so you don't break it!

There is a liquor store next to the Ponderosa/Bargin World at the western end of the 192 (just along from Angels restaurant). Also, there's one at Walgreens next to Logan's Roadhouse, again on the 192, around Water Mania.

Talking of vodka - try some Grey Goose, triple distilled, and very smooth!

At Xmas they were doing 2 x 1 litre bottles of vodka at the airport for £14.99. I think it was red square or possibly Finlandia.
When they have run out (4 days later! hiccup) try Publix!

MMMmmmmmmmm... Vodka :-)

Definetely duty free. We waited and searched and ended up paying more. Couldnt find any decent Peach schnapps as well ( for sex on the beach cocktail).

I ended up constantly buying on Jack Daniels ready made cocktails. Cant wait till they come across here. It might taste better in the sun though?
