We have booked a villa here for next summer (an 8 bed one) and wondered what people's opinions are of it as a villa area?
We have stayed at Indian Creek a few times and like the proximity to WDW and restaurants on the 192, so hoping it's ok!

We stayed here in October. It is a lovely resort. Handy wee tiki bar at the clubhouse. As you know, it os so close to parks and restaurants.

We stayed at Emerald in 2013 and 2015 in the same villa. The resort is a lovely gated community. Next year we are going to Champions Gate.

It is only a short distance from Indian Creek so exactly the same area for restaurants etc. It has much more of a resort feel instead of being more residential. My daughter has friends living on both and definitely enjoys the community pool at EI.

I've never been, but I have a villa booked there for 2 weeks in May. It looks beautiful too, i'm super excited, as I've never had a villa before.

Any tips I need to know in advanced ?

Don't book your pool heating until you get there. You should have a folder in the villa with the phone number of the management company. Give them a ring and arrange it. Cheaper than doing it thru a travel agent here in the uk.

2 minutes by car to Formosa Mall with Outback , Wynn Dixie Supermarket, TGi Fridays ,Carrabas, Subway, Cracker Barrell, Buffalo Wings , Red Lobster,Taco Bell etc. A further 5 minutes to Publix & Rolling Oaks with Supertarget, Bahama Breeze, Applebees, Olive Garden, Longhorn ,Orlando Ale House ,Texas Roadhouse,Logans Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill,Chuys Mexican, On the Border etc. Plus all the usual on the 192.

For WDW its just turn right out of EI gates, a quick turn left onto Formosa Blvd then right on the 192 and first left at the lights into Sherberth rd. 7 minutes from EI to AK and 12 to MK...easy.

I would think you wil love it there
same distance thereabouts to everything you need as Indian Creek , but more of a holiday resort feel...so lots to do on-site...
