Homewood Suites International Drive

I like the look of these suites.

Has anyone stayed there,What are they like.

Hi Paul
Stayed there for 3 weeks in April -May this year with my husband,and we loved it so much we have booked to go back next year.
The suites are really comfortable,with a king sized bed,well equipped kitchen,with huge fridge,microwave,dishwasher(which I really enjoyed,being on holiday)and a small hob(no proper oven).

The free breakfast was brilliant with lots of choice,eggs,sausage,cereal,toast,muffins,fruit yogurts etc.or you could make your own waffles with the ready mixed batter and waffle makers.I really enjoyed those!

The staff are very friendly and helpful,they wear badges with W.I.T. on them that stands for Whatever It Takes and nothing is too much trouble.

The location is good for access to the trolley on I Drive or the Lynx buses,and the hotel also provides free transport to Seaworld,US,and to Epcot so that you can make your way to any of the other Disney Parks on their free buses.

We did not get to go in the pool as we were out every day,but although it is set in a courtyard style,with no landscaping around it,it looked ok to me.

Homewood was an excellent hotel, had all the amenities! As colettej23 said the breakfast is really good. The pool is small but nice and as not many people use it it doesn't get that busy! Staff are extremely good!

Hi Paul,
I stayed there in 2001 with my family and we were very happy with our choice, it's in a lovely location on I Drive, within walking distance of lots of really nice restaurants.

Also if you look at
homewoodsuiteslbv you can look at the virtual reality pix which show you what the suites actually look like inside - the design of the LBV hotel is very similar to I Drive, the pool at I Drive is probably a bit better in that there's a jacuzzi. Towels are supplied which is very handy.

Glad I found this thread, we are going there next year - 4th September and I'm really excited about it. It sounds fantastic so I'm even more excited now.
