Florida beaches
For the first time we are looking to do part of our stay at the beach (3 nights) and I was looking for recommendations please.
I’ll be booking Disney stay when released in April and once I’ve got that locked down I can look at universal but it’s the beach part I’m not sure. I don’t really want to drive more than 2 hrs and if preference would prefer right hand side of Florida, I know there is Vero beach but any other suggestions please? Thanks

It would help if you gave some more info.
What dates? Adults, children etc? Interests? |

Just a chill out really for the 3 nights
And it’s 4 adults (2 will be 21 and 19) We’re going end of June till mid July, I think I’d prefer the beach at the end of the holiday but it’s not a deal breaker Thanks

That's peak rain time and I wouldn't book anything until I was there. The weather can vary from place to place so booking at the last moment gives you a chance to get the best weather.
Vero Beach is a good resort, and I don't mean Disney which is outside the main town. However it's very beach oriented and quiet for anything else. If you like a big choice of things to do and of restaurants then go to Daytona Beach. |

If I had to go East Coast for 3 days, then it would be Daytona Beach as there is plenty to do there.
In honesty, I would travel for just a tad longer and look at any one of several beaches on the Gulf Coast. AM Island. Fort De Soto National Park. Clearwater If travel time was unimportant, then either Pensacola Beach or Destin in front of Henderson State Park, but then I would look to either fly in or out of Pensacola and then drive between that area and Orlando.
