Visitor Toll Pass
Hi Dibbers
We used this 2 years ago when it was on free trial - it was brilliant- collected something from airport desk on arrival at MCO (after signing up online at home) hung on rear view mirror and allowed us to go through sun pass tolls. Billed straight to our credit card. Is it still available? Did it ever get put in place formally ? We used to love throwing coins in the baskets etc but driving straight through is so much easier! |

Very sadly I've checked the VTP site every day since around April and it's been suspended I'm afraid.
I was a very big and regular supporter of it after we used it last year. PAX numbers through MCO have been decimated this year so I guess it's not worth bringing it back until international travellers return Mick

Oh I do hope they bring this back, we used it last year and thought it was totally brilliant, a so much easier way than having to scrabble for quarters all the time! Fingers crossed it returns when we are able to!

It was a no-brainer really even if you only encountered the 417 on your airport trips. Even some of the tolls were cheaper than the cash price. I remember the exit ramp off the 417 to the Osceola was 52 cents instead of $1.

Agree this was such a great help, saved so much hassle when you were first leaving the airport.
I think you are right Mick that we won't see it until passenger numbers are up. |

I just bought a transponder at Publix, linked it to a villa address we had stayed in and a "fee free" credit card and use it every time we go.
Get to the garage, register the car on the account and away we go. The transponder was just under twenty dollars, had it for four years now.
