The last episode was terrible ( series 2 episode 2). The effects were absolutely laughable. I actually laughed when baby yoda was walking through the snow. It looked like they had put him on to stick and were moving it along from underneath. Hope they are saving budget on this episode to put towards the later ones.

The Yoda never looks that great to me as it seems to be a puppet.
A big proportion of it is shot inside with giant screens run by the Unreal games engine on what is a powerful PC. When the camera moves the background moves as well to give a totally realistic parallax effect. So, say, when they are in the ‘desert’ they’ll literally chuck some sand and fake rocks down in the space where the actors are and all the backgrounds are on giant LED screens. So you can do away with lots of location work.

We love it but I did find episode 2 a bit dull. Will stick with it though and see how it goes.

Episode 3 was more like it. Enjoyed that episode. Nice to see Bo-Katan from Clone Wars and Rebels.

The irony later on in the episode was funny too ! Once i got over the shock!
I really am a sucker for the little fellow and shouted out "Oh no!" !

I absolutely loved the first season. I thought the first episode for season 2 was an okay starter but really disliked ep 2. Will be catching up on ep 3 tonight so hoping it’s better!

Another good episode. Ashoka, mentions of Thrawn and Micheal Biehn. Not forgetting Grogu!

I hope they do an Ahsoka series. I didn’t recognise Michael Biehn at first. He is getting old. I think Jason Issacs would make a good Thrawn

Another great episode but not sure how I feel about them bringing back that certain person. Sometimes things should be left alone.
