We started last week and have a schedule for every weekend till Xmas. Starts off just on Saturdays and then moves to Saturday and Sunday in December. Last week was Nativity. DH wasn't impressed but DD has always liked it. Tonight is The Santa Clause and next week is Daddy's home 2.
I hope some people are going to join us soon with putting their tree's up!🎄🎅 Edited at 09:20 AM. |

I agree, I dozed off 3 times when watching it. Costumes where stunning but story line wasn't very exciting. Didn't find it very Christmassy either. Was a shame aa could have been great.

Christmas with the Kranks, national lampoons Christmas vacation , polar express, Scrooged Arthur Christmas and Christmas carol are ones we watch every year probably more than once .
Christmas chronicles is a new addition for last year and number 2 will be added next month . Oh and dd and I have to watch Mickey’s once / twice upon a Christmas every year too ,that’s how we know the Christmas season has started . |

We love ‘A gert lush Christmas’, starring Russell Howard.
Basically it is about a newly loved up London couple visiting the family of the male part (Russell Howard) in Bristol. It is outrageously cringy and right there with the inbetweeners. Possibly the most disfunctional family in TV History. Otherwise, the Griswalds Christmas Vacation.

Yep, the made-for-TV movies, all have the same obligatory sleigh bells in the background almost all the time , the incidental music 'telling' you how to feel in each scene , the single parent who finds love, someone dating someone who always ends up actually being 'Santa'
Corny as heck - but I still watch them! Ho-Ho-Ho!
