My first film was a Disney film, Monkeys Go Home. I dont think Ive seen it anywhere since, I would have been about 5.

It was very rare for us to go to the cinema as we were very poor. I remember a massive outing gifted by grandparents to watch grease... its been my favourite movie ever since 🥰
The next cinema visit was ET 👍🏻

I doubt that many can go earlier than this. "The High and the Mighty" released in 1954 and I saw it at the pictures (that was what a cinema was called then )

First one I remember was Santa Claus the movie with Dudley Moore 1985 I think, then clockwise with John Clees in 86. Think clockwise was the first with my friends. I would’ve been 12 then

The King and I with my granddad, it says 1956 so I would have been 7/8. Yul Brynner and Deborah Kerr, I remember the colours, her dress at the dance and the singing.
