Get some fries with satay sauce from a kiosk,
The Anne Frank house is worth a visit but you need to book your tickets online in advance or you are limited to after 3pm ( I think ) and the queues are long then. A canal boat trip is nice and not very expensive |

Walk around the harbour from central station to NEMO and walk up the patio to the cafe at the top and have a coffee and get your bearings.
You will walk past the central library. Has a lovely cafe there. There are some amazing markets - the flower.market is impressive, more so slightly later in the year but ok most of the year round. It's on Singel. Just walk along the canals and watch the world go by. There are some excellent museums - I like van Gogh but best if pre-booked Edited at 08:37 PM. |

You have to go to: “Loetje”, for example opposite the “Central Station”
The best Beef tenderloin steak in the world. Order it with french fries and a Affligem Dubbel. Nothing beats that.

The moco museum is very good, would highly recommend especially if you like Banksy. The royal palace is good too.
Food wise I would recommend a visit to Durty Nellys. The food was so good! Also Casa Di Sergio was a good little find and reasonably priced. It’s one of those places you can mooch around and find food though. You’ll have a great time. |
